Leak Testing

We are a job shop offering services to many industries so there is no single rig that enables us to test all the products that we process.  However, if you can supply closures we can sample or 100% test your parts following impregnation.  Many of our customers use this service because it allows them to deliver finished parts directly from our site to their customer's site, eliminating the need for additional transport to and from their own test centres.
 
Tests include:
 

• Hydraulic (using water or impregnation resins) pressure up to 2000psi or pneumatic test in water up to 150psi, both subject to the design pressure of the cast part.  Reject parts can be quickly re-processed or scrapped as required.
  

• Water Dunk (immersion) testing.  Test pressures of up to 10bar (subject to the design pressure of the cast part) can be quickly accommodated by blanking the part and applying compressed air.  The part is immersed in water and observed for signs of leakage.
